DO YOU MAKE GLUTEN-FREE AND VEGAN DESSERTS?

Yes! You can find our vegan products here. While some of our products are gluten-free and we can accept custom orders for gluten free cakes, we do not bake in a gluten-free kitchen.

 

ARE YOUR DESSERTS NUT-FREE?

Other than our vegan and gluten-free cakes, our desserts do not contain nuts. However, we do not bake in a nut-free kitchen and our desserts may contain traces of nuts. 

 

CAN I ORDER MY WEDDING CAKE WITH YOU? 

We love to create custom wedding cakes, desserts, and favours! Send us an inquiry through our weddings page here.

 

HOW DO I STORE MY CAKE?

Flour & Flower cakes should remain refrigerated until roughly 1 hour before consumption. If refrigeration is not possible, arrange for pick-up or delivery as close to your event time as possible. Cakes should be kept out of direct sunlight in a cool area. Extra care should be taken when driving with, or handling cakes.

HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER?

Orders can be placed directly through our website, over the phone or in store. For any custom orders, please contact us here.

 

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I PLACE MY ORDER?

Please allow 3 business days for all online orders. For special events, corporate orders, and weddings, we require advance notice of a minimum of one month. 

 

CAN I PLACE AN ORDER FOR PICK UP?

Yes! We offer pick up at our new Flour & Flower storefront location at 530 Waterloo st. 

  

DO YOU DELIVER?

Yes! Delivery is available in Winnipeg for a $10.00 fee. Wedding/tiered cakes can be delivered in Winnipeg and surrounding areas for a fee based on distance. Most products can also be shipped across Canada.

 

HOW DO I STORE MY DESSERTS?

All of our cookies can be frozen for up to 3 months. For cakes and other products with fresh flowers, we recommend eating within the same day or removing the flowers before freezing.

  

ARE ALL FLOWERS EDIBLE?

No - they are not. In fact, some can be very harmful to eat. However, all of the flowers on OUR desserts are 100% edible.

 

WHAT DO THE DIFFERENT FLOWERS TASTE LIKE?

The edible flowers that we use have a very pleasant and subtle taste. Our savoury menu contains more peppery and spicy flavoured flowers.

 

WHERE DO YOU BAKE YOUR PRODUCTS?

We do all of our baking out of a certified commercial kitchen in Winnipeg, MB.
